Westinghouse CANT authorize a local store to replace your set. Each are separate entities and one cant tell the other what to do. However, if you are within your warranty period, call their customer service and get it replaced -- it will be a refurb and probably take 3 months to get, but at least your tv will work.

So, you're pissed that your one year warranty doesnt last more than one year? ALWAYS BUY THE EXTENDED WARRANTY. PERIOD.
(Don't Buy Westinghouse Products!!!)
