Same story here. American Express lowered my limit and raised my interest rate. I was never given a satisfactory explanation. I have always paid on time and when I can I pay more than the minimum. Doesn't American Express understand that angering all of their customers is not a good way to stay in business. Soon this recession will end, more companies will be offering loans and credit and people will just pay off their American Express cards and be done with them. That is what I plan to do
