typical..the whole management team including steve urian and mark roessler have there eyes on their bonus not their Customers...you should call them at the Fairless Hills PA office and ask for one of them to handle your problem personally

i was in sales there and was fired because i had to lie to people like you. Your contract specifically states any raise in the base rate due to annual price increases is ANNUAL if it was changed before your price increase anniversary then they broke the contract....also if your increase was more than the consumer price index or the consumer price index plus 4 (depending on whats in the terms) then they again broke contract..you would have to look up the CPI at the time of last increase--this is specific to the base rate...i'm assuming your a commercial customer and not residential. also be aware that fuel surcharges are calculated on top of your overall invoice inflating it even moreso..also if you pay for recyling and have been given the recycling offset fee and it was not specified in the contract that one is breach of contract as well...if you check your invoices i'm sure you will find either a)an increase to the base rate prior to your "annual price increase" date or an increase that does not match the Consumer Price Index as in terms of the contract....they are greedy corporate pigs and you can see in the CEO's quarterly reports to Wall St that they intend on getting as much in the way of PI's as possible even at the loss of some Customers...to them it's all about Wall St and on the local level the Managers are only concerned about getting their bonus att he expense of Customers and employees...i'm sure you will find a local hauler who does a fine job at a fair rate..take care...

Waste Management is not a utility but I am on board with you they should be!! Then the government would regulate the service and rates would be monitored. Wow that would be great. no more surprise 9% price increases, no more unregulated fuel surcharge fees, recycling offset fees.
Until that happens enjoy paying 20-40% more for your trash service from WM while you could be getting the same or better service for less money. And by the way, the folks who pick up your trash do not make exceptional pay..the executives of the company do...keep overpaying for WM..David Steiner needs a new boat..cheers! Grow up and ask WM why they have all the fees and if you can't just have a flat rate or grow up and compare wht you are paying to some other haulers..it only takes a couple phone calls if you aren't a "lazy,sorry bum"...make some comparisons and come back and tell us what you find...
