if you think you had a bad service you have no idea how bad was my trip in the same route on April 7. Amtrak crashed with a horse trailer, the engine had to be replaced and changed 3 times, we arrived to Chicago 16 hours later, that was a complete nightmare. I am still waiting for the refund to show up in our bank account.
I lost my connection twice that trip was a complete disaster.
(train ride from hell)
