Sometimes items go out of stock. We have thousands of wheels in stock in warehouses in Florida, California, and Tennessee. I am sorry that the item you ordered was out of stock. As for your refund, banks which we cannot control have their own policies on how they refund credit cards. In reference to the brokerage and duties, I assume that you are a Canadian customer. In that case you have to pay your government taxes and duties to import goods from the United States. Was your issue resolved? We ship out hundreds of orders a day and on the rare occasion that we ship you the wrong product we promptly do a Return Authorization. FedEx sometimes takes a couple of business days to do the pick up. We hope that your issue was resolved by a credit if you desired it or with the correct wheels. Some orders do take 10 business days to be delivered to your door. In this instance, if you ordered May 31st, 10 business days would have been June 13th. According to their business practices, the salesman calls you after your internet order is placed to verify all information. I spoke to 2 different salesmen who both verified that I would be receiving "MASS LIP" wheels which gives me a larger lip on the rear vs. a smaller lip on the front. Neither of them updated my order so they sent me all 4 wheels with the smaller lip. Next I placed my order on Memorial Day weekend, I expected it to only get attention on Tuesday (5-27-08), they promptly contacted me on Tues to verify the info and started my order. By June 5 (Thurs) I had still not received any information about my order, nor had I received a tracking number. I called them and they said the order would be shipped. The following Mon (6/9/08), still no tracking number, I called again. They said they had received Kumho AST tires instead of ASX and the new ASX tires were already being installed, the tires would be shipped by end of day. They assured me I would receive them by Thurs the 12th, the day before I went in for some surgery. If they came late I couldnt install them for about a month. They came friday morning, they STILL had the AST tires installed, they had 2 of the 4 wheels incorrect. After I got out of my surgery I had to spend over an hour on the phone trying to prove to them that they sent the wrong items and they need to uphold their "I got the wrong merchandise" guarantee. I sent them the digital pictures to prove it and Brian the customer service manager said he would process it right away. It is now 6/23/08 and in 10 days he has still not supplied me a number nor has FEDEX stopped by to pick the wheels up. My last attempt to get information on 6/19/08 didnt even get a response. So far as I see it, I am out $1400 and I have a pile of crap sitting on my porch waiting for FEDEX. Good thing I didnt actually need the tires in order to run my everyday driver, or I would be screwed far worse than I am currently.
Oh yeah, they charged me an extra $40 because their deficient website screwed up. I believe I am still waiting to see that deposited back into my account also.
