Let me start by saying I’m a long time shopper with Cleo’s. My first experience was in your Benton store in 99. I come from a family that shops at Cleo’s and as a result have frequented and purchased many items throughout the years. I am typically pleased with Cleo’s but lately I’ve had an experience that has frustrated me to the point of having to write you.
I’m having the most horrible experience in dealing with Cleo in regards to a recent mattress purchase. Cleo’s mission statement is they stand behind their furniture and provide quality customers demand. I searched for several months to find a quality mattress at a solid price. I purchased one of Cleo’s mid-to-upper tier mattresses. I’m not a large person and the sales lady informed me that it could hold up under a lot of weight with no shifting if someone else was lying on the other side. None of this has turned out to be true. I purchased a Slumbertronic Mattress from Cleo’s in August 2011. The mattresses begin to sink in the middle section after less than 4 months of sleeping. I turned the mattress, as the store suggested, although it should not have been a need to do so on such a new mattress. I called Cleo after I had one too many nights of restless sleep. To my dismay they informed me they would have to send my mattress off to be evaluated and cut open to see if springs needed to be repaired. I thought this was odd, why would strings or coils need to be replaced on a new mattress. Even more so if it’s a quality product that Cleo stands behind?! It’s a practically new mattress. How can you cut open a practically new mattress with a 10 year warranty open and replace the springs and it’s not been used for longer than 6 months?  
I have purchased many products throughout the years at Cleo’s. I’m disappointed with the lack of Customer Service and their lack of empathy. When I don’t have a mattress I don’t have a place to sleep. In addition, I don’t understand how they can sell a defective product and not do anything to make it right with the Customer. I have given Cleo’s a chance and I’m highly disappointed.
After my recent experience it’s hard to believe that Cleo’s can stand behind their statement: I demand quality and the Slubmertronic Queen Euro Pillow top is not Quality. In addition, no customer should be required to sleep on the floor for over a week with little concern and no follow-up from Cleo. At this point, I feel as though they only care about the dollar and not taking care of the customer. I’m highly disappointed and very frustrated with Cleo’s and the Slumbertronic product they are selling to the public.
