Thank you for contacting Match.com .
We have received your inquiry regarding a refund. Please note that our records indicate that you had cancelled your subscription on 7/5/2009, but then had reactivated it on the same day. Therefore, your account was charged for a renewal payment at the end of the current subscription. The renewal payment of $59.97 has already been refunded in full. Unfortunately, Match.com does not offer refunds for any fees charged by your bank. Please check with your bank for more information regarding the refund.
We certainly apologize for any inconveniences this issue may have caused. If we can be of further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

I cancelled my subcription on July 5, 2009 so when the actually renewal date of August 27th , 2009 hit my credit card would not be charged...I was also sent an email other than the one below stating I could use my account until then because I was already paid.. On August 29th I proceeded to access my Bank Account and I noticed Match.com had charged my account for $59.97, this also caused my account to go into overdraft...I am a single mother of 2 unemployed and very little child support, which is why I cancelled my account to begin with because I could not afford to renew in August...I am extremely upset with your TACTICS...I spoke to a supervisor named OMAR he said he would refund the 59.97 but could do nothing about the overdraft Fees. I called my Bank they have reveresed 2 of the 5 fees. I believe Match.com should cover the remaining 3 fees, this charge was never authorized because I canceled prior to the renewal...I did not reactivate my account nor did I give you another authorization to charge my credit card...Your Practices are Unfair, and the majority of the men I have encountered on this site in the last 3 mos I have had to report because they are scammers from other countries trying to extort money...You giving me a subscription simply will not do, today is my daughters Birthday, I have no funds in my checking account to buy her present because you should have never taken my money...I want the $75.00 reveresed back to my bank Immediately..the mastercard you have on file that was so freely charged...Please dont use the excuse of the terms and conditions and please dont say it was reactivated it wasnt. I used out the time I originally paid for...A prompt response would be appreicated.

Your registration information (username, password and email address) will be saved in our records for one year. If you should decide to come back and reactivate your membership, you will be able to use your existing registration information. All you have to do is log in again.
