I have a Dell Studio laptop with Vista that I purchased new a few months ago. Each time it updates Windows it crashes. I have been through Dell support and felt the need to spend over $200 for a one year software maintenance contract. As I read through various online forums, there appears to be a general opinion that this is a Windows Vista problem, which is what Dell support told me as well. Is there fix for this problem from Microsoft ?
