Verizon Fios customer service billing problems

After repeated bills of $700-$900 A month over a year and a half. We droped you. You said you owed us $51 and some change. Now I've gotten more bills and sent to a collection agent. Said I did not return a internet box. Faxed receipt in several times they said ok our mistake no problem. We'll mail you a check. Then more collection people. Called they said that receipt wasn't good enough needed to go and get a new one from the store we returned it to. The manager said no and laughed as I'm leaving the store. Asked her to call billing and take care of this. She refused. Called billing and spoke of this. Was told it was not there problem. Asked what can I do and was told I should be thankful I got $500 worth of service for so cheap and just pay it. This has been going on for better than 6 months since I dropped service. This is wrong. I did everything correctly never was late. Lets get this cleared up without having this go further. I just want my credit cleared the $51 and to never deal with you people again. The lack of helpfulness is awful.
