Product: Toshiba 1 TB external hard drive

Purchased Toshiba 1 TB external hard drive on 10/17/2009. Cannot contact ANYBODY at Toshiba that seems to even know that this product exists. Called number in instruction manual (510) 651-6798. They referred me to another number(888-592-0944), who then referred me to another number (949-457-0777), who referred me back to the original number. Called the original number back, and they then referred me to 1-888-592-0944 again. I called this number, and the woman there (Grace) indicated that it was a parts department and could not help me-was not even aware that Toshiba even made a 1TB drive. I understandably became frustrated at this point voiced my frustration. Grace used some profanities and hung up on me, so I called the Toshiba lap top number--being that I have purchased 2 Toshiba lap tops in the past year. The person there pulled up my information and verified that I was a customer. Then...they hung up on me. I wasted an entire day, and I still did not get my problem resolved.
