I own a S2700C tablet PC that I no longer use as a tablet, because the pen has died three times, and I've had to buy a new pen every time, even though it was your mistake that causes them to stop working. You didn't check that the manufacturer's estimate of 6 years of serviceable life that you advertised was correct. They used a combination of a steel spring and an aluminum battery that causes the battery terminal in the pen to become corroded and stop functioning after only a couple months of use. I've contacted customer support, and they directed me to buy a $100 new pen to replace it, because I was over warranty. Your warranty should cover the replacement of parts that you said would last 10 times longer than they did, on principle. I'm thinking about buying a new computer, and I can guarantee that it will not be a Gateway. I cannot imagine why anyone who has dealt with you would buy your products on your assurances of quality - you are obviously lying to your customers, and then do nothing to set it right.
