I have 2 Craftsman pro Weedeaters a hand held blower and a backpack blower.First of all I will NEVER buy a craftsman weedeater or blower again! One of the weedeaters worked ok for awhile then it just locked up. Gas mixture was right with good quality oil.It was sent off to Pendagress, Fl, I think, It come back and will not run it will crank just fine but when you start use it, it will just cut off. you can be at about half thottle or even more and it just stops. I has only been sent off once. But the other one has been sent off 4 times and it needs to go again. It has never worked right. It does the same thing. It will crank but will cut off while using it. I am sick of sending it off. I need my weedeaters I don't have the time to spend without them. If I didn't need them I would not have bought them. They need someone there that knows what they are doing. I always thought that Craftsman was the best, HUH! Now lets get to my blowers. The hand held blower will crank perfect and run great when it is cold. But if you turn it off and need to crank it again you can forget it. It will not crank. It was like that from brand new. It has been sent off 3 times, by Sears. I NEED IT!!! My backpack blower Its brand new out of the box. Pulled it It would not crank so pulled it again, It froze up. could not even pull the rope.
Sears can take there weedeaters and blowers and stick them where the sun don't shine. I bought me a Stihl!!! WORKS GREAT!!!!!
