We purchased the above item on Dec. 26, 2007. We also purchased a 5 yr warrenty for $400. We were told if anything goes bad they will fix it or replace it ASP. Well our color goes in Feb. 2009. The set is only 11 months old. We contact HHGregg and they put us with Norman Elect. Who I must add NEVER came out to see the set just said they know the problem and ordered the items needed... 7-10 days... Well that comes and goes and no call so I call back to find out the part needed is no longer made.. the Norman Elect. now says it is a warrenty issue... "GE" states that the item has to sit in service for 3 months before they will take action. Call and talk to "Stan" who talks a big talk but never delv. In fact never heard from him again.... Talk to corp. it is out of their hands.....If "GE" says it has to sit in service for 3 months then it will sit in service no matter what their warrenty material says and states... they already have my money. Well to find out after the 3 months that it will have to be reviewed to see if and where they "GE" can locate a duplicate set and that is the money they will sent to me. So I am out the money for the warrenty and shipping if I have to order it.... And once again HHGregg will and do NOTHING!!!!!
