Loss of Extended Network, US Cellular - Extended Network Outage

As of Thursday afternoon (10/29/08) the 5 members of our Verizon Wireless family plan have not been able to access the extended network serviced by US Cellular.
Multiple calls to both Verizon Tech Support and US Cellular have only produced the same song-n-dance answers.
First it was 72 hours, then 2-5 days, now a supervisor is telling me 3-5 days with NO explaination as to what the problem is.
Different Techs have told me that 1) it is an agreement issue between Verizon & US Cellular and 2) that it is a firewall issue.
This morning a supervisor let slip that when an issue is widespread a Bulletin will be issued HOWEVER. She denies that a Tech told me there are over 40 Trouble Tickets in our area alone and that no Bulletin has been issued.
I travel a lot for work & I know for a fact that Verizon Wireless Extended Network service has been disrupted in ALL US Cellular areas.
I have been hearing more & more that Verison service & response has been sliping - will - it looks like this customer is going to be LEAVING !
