I was in a contract with DirectV for 18 months, I decided that I will go for a HD package and the customer support asked me to buy a receiver from them at discounted price. I paid $250 for 1 receiver. They shipped it and I still went on paying leased receiver fee of $5 every month. I contacted them regarding the charge and they said it will be taken care off. And then I got a better service deal from DishTV. I opted for it. When I called up DirecTV to inform they said I was in contract for 2 years !!!! And when I asked where is the written letter of intent or my signature to show that I agreed for a 2 year contract ? They bliffed off and started to threaten me to complaint to credit bureau and put my credit into wrotten streets. And it seems thy are going to do it further.
