I have applied for a mortgage loan with the banker name "Brian Monro". I asked him if I will get my loan modification program if I don't have Fredimac/Fredimae loan. He told me you can , the rule has been changed for other people to get loan modification(not refinance). I paid $500 for that , then he came back said "No, you can not get loan modification since your loan not Fredimac loan, you need to put down 20% to get the market rate" He should tell me that at the beginning, noone will apply for this. Do you he doesn't know since the beginning that I will not get loan modification? He provided me the wrong information , not sure just intend to get my fee to the bank or he doesn't know. I asked to get my money back. I went to his manager name"Rom Ketly", he also didn't listen to me and said we will not return the fee to you. I will need to file the complain to Federal Reserve bank also. I already in trouble with my home and the market price is going down than my mortgage and I am looking for help. Why does Citibank try to take advantage of people that is already in trouble? Please help!
