I have a Bank of America credit card, which was earlier a Secure card with an Annual Fee of $29. Later in August 2008, this card got upgraded automatically to a Platinum Visa card. At that time i called up the customer care and enquired whethere there is any annual fee for this card and the customer care person confirmed to me that there is no anual fee from this year as the card got upgraded to a Platinum card. So i decided to keep the same card instead of cancelling this and re applying for a new card with no Annual fee.

But in October 2008 the satement charged me the annual fee again. The bank sent me a notice for the charge which i got only after charging the amount. I would like to know if there is any way i can get the annual fee re imbursed, i was misguided by Bank Of America and they charged me the amount.

Please let me know how i can get the appropriate help to get this amount back.
