On black Friday of 2007, I bought a 50" Samsung DLP TV. My son ordered the exact tv when he saw the one I had ordered. Both were delivered the same day. On January 4, 2009 the lamb went out on mine and one week later the other lamp went out on the other tv. We now have 2 50" tvs that we are unable to watch. Both TV's are under warranty but the lamps are on back order. I have been waiting for 9 days and ABC informed me today, because I called them, that the lamps were shipped today. I won't get them until Monday, January 19th. Those lamps have proven that they only last one year. Each year I know that I will go through the same thing. I know that in the past that other consumers have had the same problem and you would think that ABC would have the lamps in stock. I was told they only keep 5 in stock because they are so expensive. You would think that when the stock get low, like down to two, someone would order more rather than waiting for zero and then placing the order because I am sure that it takes the same amount of time for delivery of the lamps to ABC each time. ABC, you have lost a very valuable customer. Anytime some buys two 50" TVs at the same time, you might want to keep their business.
