June 2009 - I purchased the celebrity whitening teeth whitener and noticed on my credit card account the same above mention fees from welwatchMD. These are considered fraudulent charges. My credit card company was more then helpful, cancelling my charge card, re-issuing a new card and following up with these fraudulent charges. According to the credit card company I do not have to pay the welwatchMD charges. My advise to anyone who is getting these charges is to IMMEDIATELY call your credit card company, cancel you card and report the welwatchmd charges as FRAUDULENT. Boy have I ever learnt a lesson about internet buying.

Barton Publishing is a scam! They may provide you with your order, but they also provide you with many sporadic mystery charges to your credit card or account! I made SURE that I did not approve any additional services when I purchased my booklet. But low & behold, as my husband made fun of me for not knowing better, I recieved many mystery charges to my credit card. With the help of the resolutions team at my credit card company, I was able to reach Barton Publishing through a number & web-site that WAS NOT provided by Barton Publishing on their web-site or when they e-mailed the booklet. Here is the information where I was able to contact Barton Publishing. I hope it helps you get your credit! Spread the word.

You should call them at 1-800-591-6383. I called but have not received a refund yet. I got on their list after ordering some supplements.

This is absolutely a scam. Try calling the number "Joe" gives in the email above - you will get a recording that says to call the other number, where you will talk to a "third party customer service representative" who will say that you have to do all cancellations, etc. through the barton web site - they can, of course, take an order over the phone. I order a pamphlet, just like the other person, chose NO on any extra option, was not able to confirm my order, then was charged $29.95 over my order, and was signed up for a $9.95 newletter. I sent an email back to "support@bartonpublishing" and the customer service rep said to do to cancel. I got charged again a month later and have called only to get the same run around again. I have canceled my credit card, so hopefully none of their fraudulent charges will go through. I hate that they have my email address, though. I also reported them to the Federal Bureau of Consumer Protection under four different counts of fraud. I recommend anyone else who has been scammed do the same:

Hi, I am a "scamee" from New Zealand.I have also been charged from welwatchmd after buying something from barton publishing. Has anybody ever got their money back? If you did, pls tell me how you went about it.

I bought a report from Barton Publishing and now I have started to be charged US$29.95 plus the cost of converting into Australian dollars. All I can do is report it to my bank to stop these parasites. Unless we all notice these amounts and do something about it they will keep fleecing everybody. I am an aged pensioner and I need this like I need a hole in the head.

$100 charged to my credit card over a five month period without my knowledge or consent.
As I live in Ireland I phoned the international number (001925264316) to be told that I had signed up for a "web based service", whatever that is. I "signed up" for no such thing.
Looks like they piggy backed on to my order for a report from Barton Publishing Inc.
The whole thing stinks. How is this even legal?
My credit card company is currently investigating this, but since I "voluntarily" gave my details it looks like they can't file a fraud complaint, even though I gave my details to Barton Publishing and not this 'welwatchmd'. The only thing they can do is to open a merchant dispute for any charges incurred for the last 120 days, but even that looks doubtful.

I ordered and paid for stuff from BartonPublishing.com on the 18th Nov(R353-05) Then on the 4th of Dec was debited with R311-31 from welwatchmd and again with R284-96 in January. I have reported it to my Card Devision and are awaiting their comment/solution

my husband and i , also had debits on our credit card for 74.00 canadian and we didnt auth any company for this amount, we dont even no who these people are we ave capital 1 checking these people out this world of scams are soo taking over its scarey to even think who would have your credit cards or debit # like the rest of you it makes us ver angery too think people can go into your account and just help themselfs not right we are taking action against these people we had called the phone number attached to our statement on our account and they agreed to refund us right away soo you no they are guilty of fraud take it from us be wise about scams xo
