Agree. Was in someone's (an aquaintance) house when MR. Handy Man was there. Overheard the handyman bragging over phone to boss about how much money he'd made him by suggesting more jobs. I figured out the hourly rate was close to $137/ hr, twice going rate for experienced tile guy. Unfortunately, the people had no clue they got ripped off until it was too late. Felt bad telling them but probably saved them money down the road.

I USED TO WORK FOR MR HANDYMAN. FIRST OFF I HAD THE 10 YEARS. SECONDLY THE GUY THAT RAN IT WAS A CROOK. HE SCREAMED AT US FOR NOT UP SELLING. I LOOKED AT IT AS THOUGH PEOPLE WERE HUMAN AND WORKED FOR THEIR MONEY. BESIDES, I DIDNT GET ANY THING FOR THE UPSELL. EXCEPT AN HOURS PAY WHICH IS TOO LOW FOR FOR MY ABILITY. ID ACTUALLY SEE ABOUT 30 BUCKS OUT OF THE 2 HOUR MINIMUM MINUS TAXES. IT IS A WIN WIN FOR THE OWNER. NOT THE CRAFTSMAN. I DO KNOW OF THE PALMDALE MR HANDYMAN BRANCH.... YUCK......
