terrible return/customer service - Motorola SB6120 Cable Modem

I bought a Motorola SB6120 Cable Modem which turned out to be broken. Both my internet provider and Motorola customer service confirmed that the modem was broken. I shipped the modem back and contacted the sales team. However, it took them a long time tog et back to me, at which point they only said that the original packaging was not returned. SInce this is not a common practice, I hadn't thought about it. When I asked them how I could fix this problem to move things faster, I did not hear from them for 11 days. Then I called the customer service,when miraculously I was told that the product was shipped that very day.I should note that the customer service rep, He started to yell at me about the packaging instead of listening to my complaint. I have suffered financially from the lack of a secure internet line, and I don't think I will trust this company again.
