I am a disabled person who decided to try verizon fios after 20 years of comcast. I tell you this is just the beginning for them. I have their tech support on tape and am checking with State Rep. Disability Center, SMOC legal team, and a family member who once worked for Channel 4 the best way to handle this. I have had problems with my computer 3-4 times (have tech on tape twice) and they want you to think it's your computer. Recently , the last gentleman who I promise will be jobless when my family is done with him. #1. Could not speak proper english , then hung up on me. I think, they should learn how to speak to disabled people. My doctor is writing a letter that 5 meds out of the twenty I take had to be increase due to the way he spoke to me. The lawyers will request tracking the log with the time on my answering machine. #2 They made an error of payment on my bill from last June. Now , they want me to pay $90.00 dollars extra for there error. No way , we are coming after your company for stress to a disabled vet . I will be going back to Comcast soon. And 19th others at apartment building 1630 worcester rd Framingham Ma will follow.The disability center for Verizon is being notified as well. I have also, tried to reach my local newspaper on this poor treatment and extra money they want for a financial error on there part. In ref. to my problem a neighbor unplugged my box and restarted my computer that verizon tech who can't speak english just hung up.
