i went to wal-mart in Phenix City, Alabama to have a tire replaced; technician informed me that they did not have any tires to fit my car even though i purchased all four tires from this store; i was told that i could go to another store and get the tire which was in columbus, ga; i told him i would hang out in the store until they open and he could call and see if they indeed had the tire i needed; they did not; he called all of the surrounding cities and found the tire in opelika, alabama and told me to go to opelika to get the tire; i refused because i did not purchase the tires there and it was not my place to travel to get my tire; they refused to have the tire delivered to their store so i left and came home and lodged a complaint; within 2 hours someone called me back and said they would be bringing the tire to the store and i could come back and have the tire mounted but they would have to check the existing tire and pro-rate my bill as if i am stupid; i was not treated like a paying customer, someone who has been doing business with them, purchasing tires and having my oil changed on a regular basis; the people at the phenix city automotive department need some serious customer service training; i told the manager that if i had to travel to opelika to get my tire that i would not be paying anything for it so he told me that my bill would be prorated; i left and informed them that i would not do anymore business with their service department and that i would tell everyone i know that they are selling defective tires because for some reason all four of my tires have air seeping from around them and i constantly have to put air in them; it would have been simple for them to say that they would see if anyone from the opelika store was coming that way at any time and if they would drop off a tire, but that did not happen; they thought i was stupid and that i would use my gas and time to travel to another city to pick up my own tire; no i did not have the road hazard because i don't drive my car often; in the past i have purchased tires for two vehicles from walmart but i won't purchase anymore ever again.

We just had our truck serviced at Wal-Mart in Tulsa, OK. Right off, they claimed they could not check the transfer case because they did not have the correct tool. They had added declined on the paper we received. Which we did not decline. In fact my husband made a point to ask them if they were going to check the crank case and was told before hand that they would. After we left and stopped at a store across the road we noticed that the washer fluid light was one. We stopped and checked the fluid which was 1/4 in from the the bottom. (otherwise empty) We returned, presented them with the problem and were told that they did indeed fill it up but it had a crack and must have leaked all out. Which was impossible since there was no water under the truck where it was parked. It did have a small crack half way up the reservoir. But the fluid was well below that on empty.
There was a customer there who told us that she was there complaining about her vehicle and not to ever take ours back to any Wal-Mart. They had serviced her car and it had a puddle of oil under her car when she got home. Which it did not leak before hand. They were not going to admit any fault there either.
I have had my fill with Wal-Mart. We have had prior problems when my husband had a tires put on at a Florida Wal-Mart. I was hoping that it was just the one store's problem, but it seems that it is rampant at all the stores. He is not going to give them 3 strikes. He has had his fill and they are out. We will be taking our business elsewhere in the future.
