i bought a new hp desktop on 8-21-08. had problems for 6 months with the computer, finally thought it would be ok until 8-21-09. called technical service for some help to get it up and running, they would not even discuss the problem with me until i would agree to buy an extended warranty. i declined and just wrote hp off as junk. i will never buy hp again.
