non-working cell phones - customer service & sony 580i

We bought 3 sony ericcson 580i Feb. of 2008. By March my son's keys had split, we sent the phone in under warrenty and got a refurbished phone back he had the refurb phone for about a week and the speaker broke. By this time my husbands LCD screen broke and my keys were spiting. Our local store could do nothing so I called the 800 number. I got a girl who sent us out 3 Nokia phones. The phones we had before we upgraded to the sonys. So we paid $100 a piece to get the same phone that I started with. Two of the 3 Nokias broke this month. We now have 2 nokias and 3 sonys that need to go back for repairs. ATT have had the phones more than my family. But, we pay the same phone bill whether we are able to use the phones or not. I called customer service a week ago and spent almost 6 hours over a 2 day period talking to them about the phones and customer service kept putting me on hold. One time for over an hour. I had to send the phones back I now have 3 refurbished sonys that do not get reception and the voice quality is bad. I have another 18 months on this contract, at the end of which I will be looking for a new cell provider.

At&t wont admit there is a problem. They just try to sell you a new phone. I am still searching for the best option for my area. I have spent alot of hours on the phone with their customer service, techs, engineers, and everyone else at this company. I would not recommend them unless (maybee) they get their s&!^ together..Very Dissapointed
