I saw the market being effected I tried to re-mortgage my loan. Or have the interest lowered. Countrywide had me send them all my paperwork. They denied me, I had great credit at that time. Prior to that I had some

equity where I could have had the PMI removed at 80% they said no, now we need 70%. I have an adjustiable loan and they keep saying that they can not help me, until the year 2011. I owe $208,000.00 but now it is worth $165,000 due to the market. All I need is a lower interest rate and 40 years even if they do not lower the debt. Who in the world is monitoring these people that are working for countrywide? I am not that behind. Last month I sent half a month and I am due now for this month. However, my income has been reduce and I need to adjust my mortage. They should want to work a program out, so that the owners would keep thier properties and not have a forclosure. Especially, when the owner wants to keep the property. The last time I spoke to someone they ask all the questions then said you do not qualify as you do not have enough income, he never told me what he was qualifying me for!! I told him I had less income now, but I can pay about $1200. instead of $2300. I told them to look at my history with Countrywide I have paid them for years without problems, that did not matter. Immediately they reported me to equifax and now my credit dropped 60 points now I can never refinance. (By the way who gave equifax, and the other two credit companies the right to dictate our life!! They should be sued, I never signed a release or agreement for them to control my credit!!!)Back to Countrywide,I hope they are not bailed out as these lenders are not working out a program for the public.

I have had a 2nd mortagage with CW for about 5+ years. The initial amount was $36,000.00 with payments of $248.0 per month. I expected to have the amount reduced after 5 years, but CW keeps adding miscellaneous fees so the balance is still about $36,000.00. How do these banks get away with adding all these fees without cause. My payments are always on time.
