never again - vacuum

I will never shop at Kohls again due to 3 separate incidents. First - due to advertised sale and rebate I purchased a turkey roaster. When I sent in the rebate I was informed they gave me the wrong forms for the wrong model. They never resolved the complaint. Second- purchased several items at the "buy one get one free" option. Found out when I got home they had charged full price for all. Third - they advertised a specific vacuum on sale. The store did not have it - nor did the website offer that model. I received a raincheck - and although the vacuum has been advertised several times - it is never in stock. They assured me they would call when it came in - and that has never happened. There policies and proceedures are deceptive.

Lord knows I have no lost love for Kohls...however, if your Kohls store followed policy they could have handled your first two complaints. Yes, it would have been a hassle but you could have gone back up to the store to retrieve the correct rebate forms, you could have taken your receipt to customer service and they could have correct the BOGO mistakes. If they claimed they couldn't, then they were lying because they were wanting to be lazy. Trust me, there are plenty in my store that are that way. The problem with the vacuum issue is that our ads are sent out nationally. What one store may receive on a truck up North, down South they may not receive the same merchandise for months or even never. We never really know what is coming on a truck until it arrives. That is also not your local Kohls fault, it all stems back to corporate. With a little bit of an inconvience on your part, at least 2/3 issues could have been worked out.
