These guys were kickass. They showed up early, called ahead to make sure I would be ready, and were super friendly and nice. The added fees are super minimal. They do not charge you for blankets, the tape used to wrap the blankets, or anything like that. They do charge for a huge roll of plastic wrap that offers the furniture extra protection, and that was the only extra charge even suggested to us.

Yes, the whole move ended up costing roughly $100 more than it would have with other movers. But after using the world's crappiest movers four years ago, I was well aware that you get what you pay for, and was more than happy to give these guys the extra money.

When they first showed up, I figured the move would take at least 5:30. They got it done in 3:45. They never took a break, and as other reviewers have said, never complained once, no matter how hot it was or how much they were sweating (obviously we ran out and got them bottles of water and ice cream). They somehow managed to get a ridiculously large and cumbersome bookcase out without disassembling it, and although it took a lot of creative thinking and planning, they did it fast and without leaving a mark on it. We were so impressed that we gave each of the three guys a pretty generous tip... it was only right.
