i hope carnival cruise lines reads this review. my name is joe grossman and i've made it a mission to tell prospective vacationers NOT to sail with carnival. a cruise line is about service; that's what they sell. this past june, we sailed for 5 days and bought bottles of rum aboard the ship. they packed the bottles in a box and told us to place the box in our luggage for ease of handling. roughly 30 mins into our drive for home we smelled the mango rum. yes, one bottle shattered because carnival rough handled our luggage. my new car was soaked with booze, shoes, clothing and a piece of luggage destroyed!
we immediately phoned carnival cruise line with no satisfaction / help. they stated that since we left the terminal there was nothing they could or would do, but gave us a $25.00 coupon for a future cruise. after this bullcrap why would anyone sail with them again in order to use a measley $25.00 coupon?
DON'T SAIL with them !!!!!!!!!!!
