HP hewlett packard customer service is not good.

Huge waiting time.
They take lot of time to resolve the problem.They doesnt have a good database of customer details.
Every time you call you need to tell all your details ,they say it is for security reasons.Also the problem you need to repeat that again.

I had a problem with my laptop charger.
since I had an warranty they told that they will be sending the charger and finally they placed the order for it.
But thats not the right one for my laptop.

I called them again told all my story
and finally sent me another charger.
Again this time they sent me the wrong charger.

I am fed up with this.

I was unable to use the laptop.

I will never buy another HP product. My laptop HP DV7-1260us began auto-repairing itself two months out of the box. After 4 auto-repairs the laptop wouldn't boot. HP tech worked out a phone solution but didn't really repair the notebook. Then I had no Intenet access. They sent me a new Atheros card to install myself. Still no Internet. Five calls (to India)...hours spent on the phone. No solution. Finally they allowed me to send back my computer. I don't have it back yet. Customer service gave me wrong part numbers--and mostly are low paid idiots. Screw HP. I teach photography and have always recommended HP printers--it will be Canon or Epson from now on. As for laptops--anything but HP.

HP Customer service is absolutely horrible. They have technicians that do not understand the problem and they are simply trying to get people to extend warranty. Once you sign up, their technicians are so incompetent it is ridiculous. Part of the problem is that you can barely understand them. When you ask to speak to another technician in hopes of speaking to someon who speaks clearly, they transfer you to someone who has the same issue. I wish I never bought an HP and have to deal with their customer service.
