I was in Ocala Florida and needed a whole bunch of supplies due to damage to my rental property.When I went to the store there seemed to be plenty of employies willing to greet me and help me with my needs due to my full wagon.But when I called for assistance on the phone I was put on hold for 10 min each three times that I called.I  told them that if I was put on hold one more time,that they would loose a customer for life. All I wanted was a price for sheetrock, not a big deal.They told me I would have to wait due to the fact they were unloading a truck.Not Acceptable to this customer, you have lost my dedication to your store.I should not have to wait 1/2 hr for a price of sheetrock because your boys are unloading trucks.Good buy Home Depot.Hello Lowes.

I too, have noticed the lack of employees at the depot. Use to be one on every isle. Now you can't find one anywhere. I'd rather go to the local hardware or lumberyard & pay a little more & get in & out fast & back to my project than to spend an hour or 2 looking all over that big store for the different items I need. Time is money too. And worse, H.D. wants you too check yourself out so they don't have to pay a Human that can see & think. I loke the old personal touch that smiles & makes me feel that my business is appreciated. I want SERVICE with a SMILE..........

Being in retail, I understand the frustration of phone calls. But if you are going to comparison shop, you should at least understand that there is a job to do and there are people who are not lazy and obnoxious that actually go to the stores to get the info they need. I instruct my associates, the customers in the store are top priority. Never leave a paying customer in store to answer someone who you may not see. Good luck lowes--this guy seems like a handful to deal with--
