false advertisement + no customer service...at all!! - Review of doctors in your area

I recently purchased a medical review report from the online service ' healthgrades.com ' that was advertised to me to give me information on doctors of a specified field in my immediate area. Well...in receiving my online report, that cost me about eleven dollars, I got a list of doctors (some not even in the specified field I asked for) in about a fifty mile radius and only two in my area (a 10 mile radius). After further research on my own accord, I have learned that there are hundreds of doctors of the specified field in my immediate area. Keep in mind, even with the wide distance of search field, I still only received a review on about seven doctors.

THAT'S JUST THE FIRST PART...

I sent customer service a very nice email asking for assistance and a possible refund for my purchase of this report that did me no use. I sent five emails in a five week span and never received a single response. I even got a bit 'nasty' on the last one just to try and provoke a response...nothing.

Do they even have a customer service department...We may never know.

My advice to anyone considering using this online service...look for a different one. Not only do they give you useless and false information on your purchases, they continue charging your account with some 'automatic tracking services' that you have no choice in choosing during the purchase.

How do online businesses get away with this!?! It's nuts! I guess we just can't trust them. Maybe it's time to go back the old way of word of mouth and phone calls!
