I have a 2008 ford ranger V6. At 751 miles, the engine light came on. It came up as a ghost code. (speed sensor.) Then at 1551 miles, The engine light came on again. (replace the fuel sensor.) Now at 2441 miles, the engine light came on again. (3x) This time they changed the, dash wire cluster. Ford Motor Company , has no clue of whats going on. Now I wait to see if the problem comes back at 3200 miles.

Guess What! The V6 engine in the 2002 F150 XL is having the same issue. I have taken it into the dealership twice in 6 months and different codes are told to me without any paper printout or report.

This time it is leaking "plastic" in the intake manifold ..... which the dealership claims is an engineering problem; however, after contacting Ford .... no reports and no acknowledgement .....

I too can not wait to see what the next code is ...... maybe replace the truck .....? what code is "sell it!"

I feel your pain, I have a 2006 Ford Ranger V6. It has broke down twice on the interstate once for a fuel pump and now I am not sure since it is in the shop for them to figure out. The passenger door also leaks air and the drivers seat is difficult to adjust. (The dealer says that this is not covered under the warranty since it is cosmetic). I hate this truck will never buy a ford again. The dealer is difficult to work with since they lack any customer service. I HATE MY FORD RANGER.

Bad ford. This happens each and every day. Ford don't care.

6-2-08, 3844miles on my 2008 Ford ranger. The engine light is back on. After the dealer replaced the dash wire harness. That did not work. Now I'm fighting with Ford to, buy the vehicle back. This is now the big #4. The last time. Ford has a solution Department, but they never call you back. So now the truck sits at the dealership until Ford figures out what to do. The sad part about this is that, I have no vehicle to drive.
