It is DirecTV policy to automatically suspend your account with you request a disconnection! Then, they will restart your account subsequently, without any further to you, and bill accordingly on a monthly basis. If you have moved to another city or state as I did, they track you down and demand payment for service you did not receive. Not even the Office of the President of DirecTV has the authority or is willing to listen to reason in this situation, and your are bound to pay for service you did not receive, or else be turned over to a collection agency. POOREST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!
