I was shopping in the store in Kalamazoo MI. I spoke with an associate at the store about a lamp I wanted to purchase. He said it was under a pile of things in the back and the manager would have to get it for me.
The manager never spoke with me or got the lamp for me. I left the store after wwaiting 1/2 hour. This is the worst ccustomer service I have experienced in aa long time. I will shop at World Mmarket from now on.

Did you ever think of asking for help again? Sometimes you are not the only person in the store! It is human to get side tracked isn't it?!?

I had a different issue concerning pier1 imports...I was shopping around looking for a set of nice long stem glasses. They had some very nice looking green one's. However the glass was very thin, and brittle feeling. The price was several dollars per. glass. Needless to say I didn't buy them. About 2 weeks later I went into a Dollar-Tree store. Low, and behold they had glasses that looked very much like the one's at pier1... Because my curious mind wanted to know? If the glasses appeared to be close to, or of equal quality? I purchased one from each store. They were a perfect match. Same color green, same size, and weight. The one thing I don't know is if they were manufactured by the same glass company? My point is... it pays to shop around. Because you don't always get what you payed for! I did go back to pier1 and speak to the sales lady at the counter. She ho-hummed around, and ended up saying ummmm-look-Mam-I-just-work-here! Now...don't go getting the wrong impression anyone. I was very polite when speaking with the sales lady...After All...she just works there!!! (:-)
