The shell gas station has a mechanic garage attached and the mechanic there owns the garage and sells cars there at the shell. My son bought one of the cars for sale for $1500.00 and 1 month later the car started on fire. Just so happens when buying the car the mechanic told us he rebuilt the engine. The fire department and police department came to put out the huge flames. Police report says fire started in engine compartment. When my son told the mechanic, he stated " Sorry, you bought it as is" Well hopefully before the next car is bought from Shell the consumer reads this review.

there are lemon laws take John to court and sue the heck out of him. He is NOT a certified engine tech anyway

I sold this used vehicle "as is". This was a personal sale and had nothing to do with the Golf and Busse Shell where I work. When i had the car for over six years I only had basic car problems that were resolved correctly. This buyer failed to mention that i had a very loud and powerful after-market stereo system installed professionaly. The buyer also neglected to mention that he was disconnecting wires or changing the stereo equipment and is not certified to do so. What happened to the car was a horrible tragedy but he should of left that kind of work to certified professionals as I did when it was installed. On a final note the buyer only paid a total of $1,300 for the car and $300 of which was paid weeks later after repeated attempts to collect the remaining balance of the vehicle.
