Sandman, do you think you should let a child run around the house with this product in its hand? Typical American. Blame it on someone else. If your child gets hurt due to your bad parenting then that is not the companies fault. The commercial clearly tells you that the product is glass. Do people sue car manufacturers because they got a ticket in a car that goes faster than the posted speed limt? Stop being a baby and stop blaming other people for your mistakes. /b/

While the claims the company makes about the amount of time the water lasts in bulbs is exaggerated, I still think they are pretty useful . . . We leave town for days at a time and the globes fit our needs. As far as them being dangerous, for gosh sakes they are $3.00 each, fragile, and GLASS use your head when pushing them into a pot. You MUST create a canal for them in advance . . . don't put the globe in all the way if the water is draining out too quickly . . play with them angle them and each plant will tell you what it needs . . . again, common sense. Lastly, I use a strw to push excess soil clumps back into globe, add water and pour out soil particles with water before refilling. Enjoy!!!

i plan to file several complaints and quite soon too. one with the consumer product safety review board, on the grounds that this product is just way too dangerous to remain on the market. anyone with the smallest fraction of commonsense already knows that this product should have never been made of glass in the first place. specially handmade blown glass which is extremely fragile due to its unpredictable quality in regard to its overall thickness.

that comes as no surprise to me. my mother purchased a few of these miracle watering nightmares after they were recommended to her by a family member. i was quite apprehensive about using them at first, after noticing that they were made of a very weak fragile glass. heaven forbid if a child was to run through the house with one of these and suddenly trip on something. they should recall this product immediately and reimburse everybody who was foolhardy enough to be suckered in to buying this most dangerous breakable product.

I spent 5 hours on Christmas Day in the ER after one of these shattered while I was putting it in my plant. Have you written a letter or filed a formal complaint or anything?
