the sales person that sold us our pre-construction unit grilled us for over 5 hours. When we finally agreed to a price (only because the unit they showed us had a jacuzzi in the master bedroom and a full kitchen)we purchased what we thought would be what they gave us a tour of. Turned out when it was finally built we were shown what they actually sold us - a TINY studio efficiency with a TINY bathtub, a TINY living room, a TINY kitchenette with a TINY refrigerator and a TINY stove top, no oven, and right on the highway so we wouldn't be able to sleep due to the NOISE. After reporting them to the BBB, the Fla. Division of Consumer Complaints, and every other agency that polices these rip offs, I find that these very professional scam artists covered themselves in the contract because they stated it was a one bedroom standard unit - well, since they didn't show us a one bedroom standard unit, and didn't tell us that what we purchased wasn't what they showed us we are stuck with the unit. TRIED TO PURSUE SELLING, BUT ALL OF THE COMPANIES THAT WOULD SELL A TIMESHARE WANT MONEY UP FRONT AND IT IS ALSO A SCAM. STAY AWAY FROM WESTGATE

I have similar bed experience with Westgate. They are a big scammer. They are charging arm and leg for the maintainance. On top of that they say they are going to give you exchange but it is never avaialble when you want it. I like to know what kind of legal action you have pursue?

Same thing happened to us! Only we still have the floor plan they gave us. We are persuing legal action.!
