I subscribed to uverse and they said I would get AMC network with the great program Madmen and they don't have AMC in Little Rock, AR. And no one can explain why!

This is my exact complaint too. I have made several complaints asking for AMC in my area. I can see it is on their U-100 package in other areas of the USA but not mine and I take the U-300 package which I am about to change to the lower level U-200. I am so unhappy that I can't see Mad Men that I'm about to cancel. All AT&T seem to be able to tell me is that "we are working on getting it, it could show up any time in your area, just keep checking channel 795" A lot of good that does me when I am missing my favorite emmy winning show and AMC does not run re-runs of this show so I will have to wait until summer and buy the DVD.
