Worst Customer Service EVER! - Firegear Gas Logs/Burner

My order from Hearthside was delivered badly damaged. It took over 2 MONTHS to receive a working replacement that they are now trying to charge us for twice. I have spent countless hours calling, emailing, etc. with very little response and absolutely no apology out of anyone. Some of the worst customer service of any company I've ever dealt with. As far as I'm concerned, they should credit the entire order for the hassle and inconvenience it has caused us all! If you order from the, pray that it arrives in one piece otherwise you will be waiting for it for months and paying for it twice, apparently.

Hearthside did the same thing to me. you should have contacted the BBB and the AG for TN and got them involved. The BBB is a joke though. The let any company in even if they are crooks like www.hearthsidedistributors.com I have a claim in now with the AG for the state of Tennesse against these crooks. KKETCH you still have time to contact the AG for a resolution. you have up to a year. Go after these crooks

This customer signed for the products without noting any damage on the delivery receipt. We cannot accept responsibility for damage once the product has been signed for as being received in good condition. The freight company will not honor the claim. It is the responsibility of the recipient to insure that all products are in good condition before signing for them. This is a standard policy with all companies that ship products. This customer simply wants someone to take responsibility for their mistake. Had the product been refused or the damage noted at the time of delivery, we would have gladly replaced the product at no charge.
