I have been a Discover credit card customer for 22+ years. I used that credit card whenever I made a purchase of any kind. I was a very good customer.

I cashed in my points to receive $250.00+ of gift certificates to Sharper Image. When Sharper Image went out of business, I called Discover and was told that I could save the S. Image certificates to see if they came back into business (they're website said they were coming back). After six months, I realized that nothing was happening, so I wrote a letter to Discover with all of the Sharper Image gift certificates to get a credit. I did not hear anything from them.

When I called, I was told that they would not honor the gift certificates or give me a credit. I explained what I was told, but the man did not seem to care. I told them I wanted my gift certificates returned and that I would never use their credit card again if I did not receive some type of credit. His response was do what you have to do.

Almost a year later and I have not used their credit card and I still do not have my gift certificates.
