Who'd have guessed YouTube would have a seedy underbelly

I was embarrassed more for my son than anything else but when I stumbled upon him using my laptop to look at soft core porn on YouTube I was really amazed as well. I had no idea that kind of thing made it onto the site, for some reason I thought it was more 'family friendly' and had active editors??

It turns out, he needed an 'adult' account to access these sexy scenes but all that took was him signing up with an email address and clicking a box that verified he was over a certain age. Not much in the way of security there. Too bad now YouTube is on my &^%$list too....

My sister caught her boys and their friends scouring YouTube for pornography the other day. She had turned on the history in the account so she could see what they were up to and could not BELIEVE what she came up with. But freedom of speech is freedom of speech entire. Not a lot to be done about the internet in that case I'm afraid.
