What did I enjoy in San Francisco? EVERYTHING from the cable car rides, to the food, festivals and to the unbelievable scenic views! What a gorgeous city! In terms of size, it’s pretty small and could easily walk from neighborhood to neighborhood. The Golden Gate bridge is just amazing. The Bay Bridge is just as stunning in the evening when all the lights come on. Food was delicious every place we walked into. After spending the first few days in awe, we took a tour to another must see, Yosemite National Park with a local operator, Extranomical Adventures . Had cold feet in booking as it was a long day and a super early start (6 am) but quickly banished those thoughts. And we were so glad we did, our driver and guide, Charles, made our trip a pleasure. Stopped by El Capitan, Half Dome and the Falls. Had lunch and drove up to the Giant Sequoias. Wow, wow, wow! But alas, it was time to go home on the fifth day, but have no doubts about coming back!
