I love my aqua globe s. In fact, I am looking for a good deal to buy one for every one of my plants. I had one plant that was dying on me because I couldn't manage to keep it watered enough. Since the aqua globe, it has fully recovered and looks great. You have to water your plant before putting in the aqua globe. The directions say to poke a hole (I use a wooden dowel for this) and then insert the aqua globe in -- this helps prevent breaking the neck and clogging it with dirt. Some dirt always gets in, but doesn't seem to stop the water. Some plants take more water than others, but it usually lasts a week or two on average.
