In a hurry to finish a project, I ran to the local hobby store on Sunday. As I pulled in, I noticed I only had ten 7 minutes before they closed but luckily, I new exactly what I needed. As I walked in, a woman told me they were closed at which point I looked at my watch and asked what time they closed. she said, they closed at 5pm and I replied, well, it's not five yet. The owner behind the counter said "by my watch...we're closed." I'm sorry but do not post hours if you're not going to follow them, they were rude and didn't take the time to even help. I asked if there were any places I could get what I needed and they told me the only option I had was to come back, well, thanks to this site, I had another option. I have spent 100's of dollars but no more.

I don't like them either. I went there looking for a 1/10 scale truggy like the traxxas rustler and the guy at the counter said this redcat could do 35mph with a new battery. So i thought about it and got the Redcat. I went home happly and tried it at home with the stock nicd battery it must have gon 10 mph it sucked!! then one day i went there saying it was slow, so they said they would try a new battery. so we brang it to the parking lot and raced it against a team associated rc18 (an 1/18 scale car that can go 20mph stock) the red cat lost. so i said to the guy, can i get a refund because it can only go 16 mph and you (the hobbytown guy) said it could go 35 mph, they said no.

WTF!!!!!
after a while i convinced them to give me half off on a lipo for my rc18

still the the radcat was $$$150$$$ and the battery was $48 dollars and half off $24

please excuse the spelling and grammar errors, i am 13 years old

I went there once to a different location than you probably but I guess it proves they are all very rude no matter which shop you visit. The guy was eating chocolate cake while he was talking to me and I thought I was going to be SICK right there in the store. Not only that but they didn't have what I wanted and when I asked if they could help me get it by ordering they were very unhelpful. The guy who was working at the time was with another girl working and she was rude too. They are just kids really but you know what so am I (I'm 17) and I am still respectful of customers when I'm at my job!
