What A Rip Off? - Smart Lids

I purchased the smartldz, buy 1 set, get 1 set free with an additional shipping charge of $7.95. I assumed that shippig charges for the 1st set was also $7.95. I searched the web site to find the shipping charges but there was no info anyway. Imagine my surprise when I hit the "submit order" button and saw the final total for my order was $56.75. They are charging me $36.75 for shipping alone. The 2 sets of lids only cost $20.00. I tried calling, no one picks up. It's a recording. I did call 866-608-8635 and was told that I could contact using their email address. HERE'S THE CATCH! They tell you to email them at smartldz@custservdirect.com. I tried that and it came back undeliverable. I listened to the recording again and she said to email at smartldz@custservdirect.com BUT she spells out the following email address: smart@custservdirect.com. NO LIDZ in the email address at all. I used this email and it did go through.

GOOD LUCK TO THE REST OF YOU WHO GOT SUCKER AS WELL!

was charged p&h charges of47.70. did not receive the jumbo lids as advertised. no valid customer service #. no recourse? do not even want to open packages to find out they too are bogus.

ordered set, didn't receive jumbo cover..10.00, 15.90 for s&h and didn't get whole order..can't get thru on phone..sounds like a rip to me

I did put through a dispute with my credit card company BUT they will only credit me for the product NOT the shipping charges.

Received 2 short augers charged for the whole deal of $28.90 and have not received the rest and tried to get someone on there 866 number and emailed them as well I have to agree with the rest a rip off

Our P&H cost was $56.85 for 1 order. On line $8.95 is the S&H cost. Another rip off. I will contact BBB
