Went to Barbounia the other night with friends. this has always been a good greek place and if you like greek you know it is hard to find in the city compared to some other cuisines..

Food as usual was good but this time the service was really not.

Rushed through the meal, huge platters of dip served with tiny dishes of bread and when bread reinforcements were called for they arrive late or not at all. A fish poorly deboned at the table. Drinks taking a long time.

odd as the place has been good every other time we have been.

We will chalk this one up to a bad night and give it another try some other time.
