Well well, people where do I start, I made the mistake one night of ordering two magazines from the website MAGAZINE CITY .COM august
29,2007, today is February 16 2008, and I never
got them, they seem like a real business, I would have never thought this people could be so unethical, the customer service phone number is never answered, around november and december
I got to talk to them on the phone and they explained how there is a normal delay in them contacting the publisher and you getting your first issue, but more time went on, nothing, I have emailed them, I ordered Marie Claire and Elle
someone told me it was Marie Claire and bazaar so they are totally disorganized, made me waste my time, because I contacted the publishers directly, at Marie Claire they processed alledgedly an order for me three weeks ago, Im still waiting,
I was told by Elle they never placed the order with them either, they consfused me so I contacted Bazaar too just in case in the meantime all these magazines tell me to make a copy of my chase credit card statement where it shows magazinecity got their money from me, im faxing this to all this people they want my credit card number again to verify orders, what a HASSLE
if you want to order a magazine that you can order directly dont bother with this people, Im so mad is not even funny, I have emailed them, nothing
three times the response system said your email has been recieved, you will be contacted shortly
if you saw santa come down the chimney in december, i saw my magazines, this is horrible
service they charged me for the magazines and THEIR service fee and they can't do their job.

I have had a similar experience. I ordered British House & Garden on November 7, 2007, and despite a number of e-mails to Magazine City about not having received my subscription, I still have not received my subscription.

I've read many of the other comments and can reiterate the same "run-a-round". Placed my order 12-15-08 and have yet to receive an issue or definate delivery date for a 1st issue. My last attempt to resolve this fraud was made today[Oct.21, 2008]. Even if these people come through now, they've had my money since December 2008.....just imagine how much free money they have garnered from all of us. That sort of float credit is illegal and will be reported. Bad news any way you look at it.

I, too, ordered magazines and paid $70+ for a 2 year subscription. I ordered them in December, 2007, and followed up in February. I was told that if they still weren't delivered by the end of April to follow up again. I've since sent 2 more e-mails that have not been acknowledged, and phoned, but was left on hold for over 1/2 hour. Eventually hanging up without help. Still no magazines, and no service to help.
