We have been doing business with Allied for many, many years, and without any problem...then we met Dan, their service manager in their repair shop...what a piece of work! If he doesn't like you, then your rig goes to the back of the line...not a very good way to win ratings...
Our rig was repaired there in May of 2006, later found that there were still some problems, so called Dan...couldn't get to it now,,,too busy..bring it in in a few months...so, in August noticed it getting worse, called Dan...couldn't get to it now, too busy...MAYBE I can get to it in a month or two..check back...did that, finally got an appointment to bring in rig..October 1st..there bright and early, Dan wasn't...called later...too busy, might not be able to even look at rig for a couple of weeks, then would have to order parts...called Insurance company, got a call back that said that Dan MIGHT be able to get the rig back to us on October 12, but not set in stone...
Seems as though when they once get your money, even though they say they stand behind their work, they make it near impossible to get the work completed...
He should remember that we wouldn't have been back there, if the work had been done properly the first time!

Doesnt even remotely sound like the Allied Trailer that I've dealt with for many years. Probably not the prettiest shop in town but defanitely the most honest. From my personal experience the biggest problem with getting an RV repaired is getting parts from the MFG. and secondary companies. It sounds to me like the guys at Allied are getting a bad review from these folks because of an issue with parts from the MFG. Have a little patience my friend and they will treat you better than ANYONE !
