Watch Out For False Answes From HP On Line Salesmen!

I made 3 calls in a 60 day time frame to HP sales. I asked and was helped to set up a laptop to my specs. I asked if any new models would be coming out soon, or any changes to this model or would this model be eliminated, as I was in no hurry to purchase it. Each phone call I was told the same answers-NO! This was an award winning computer and it wasn't going anywhere. So after 3 call in 6-8 weeks getting the same answers I felt comfortable ordering. Well within the month but just after the 21 day return policy HP discontinued my model! The new model has twice the computer chip, double the video card, and the extras I paid for are now include in the model that replaced mine. The bottom line is: HP salesmen can not be trusted to give you a straight answer. They are exactly like car salesmen, they are only interested in their commission. Their executives are just as bad. Do the right thing would be to replace my computer with the upgraded model, as I asked the salesMEN ALL of the correct questions and did NOT get the truth. So their execs pass the buck too. BE CAREFUL.
